Discover the journey of My Art Gallery
Welcome to My Art Gallery, a place where passion for diverse art forms comes to life. Explore our story, what makes our creations unique, and the inspirations that fuel our artistic journey.

From hobby to heartfelt employment
My love for art began unexpectedly. Originally, I envisioned starting my artistic journey at 67, after retirement. However, medical issues led to an earlier retirement at 57, which became a serendipitous opportunity to delve into art sooner. I started by dabbling in photography, then discovered immense joy in the vibrant splash of paint and the intriguing mixture of different textures. The fun of working with clay soon followed, and now, I've embraced Diamond Art. Each of these diverse aspects of my art brings a profound sense of peace and tranquility to both mind and soul, turning a challenging time into a beautiful new chapter.

The special twist in every creation
What makes the art I create and sell truly special? It's simply because I'm making it. I believe every artist imbues their work with a unique part of themselves. My art is different because I love to add an unexpected twist. If a piece looks familiar, I'll transform it. For instance, imagine the beautiful Mona Lisa, but with a smile or a touch of modern makeup. It still retains its essence, yet looks wonderfully different. This approach ensures that every piece from My Art Gallery stands out and tells its own captivating story.

Where inspiration takes flight
My inspiration for creating new art comes from a diverse array of sources. For painting, it's often a collaboration of vivid dreams I've had, cherished memories of places I've visited, or sometimes even spontaneous ideas from my youngest grandchild. Photography leads me to plan trips to capture beauty, whether it's the animals at the zoo, the vibrant flowers in a park or garden, or scenic views during a road trip (ideally 4 hours tops, two hours there and two hours back). Even a simple trip to the grocery store or the beautiful change of seasons can spark an idea. For Diamond Art, I explore various themes like African art, gnomes, flowers, and even sports. With Clay Art, I seek inspiration from everyday life; I once crafted a full McDonald's meal—burger, fries, and a drink—which, though magically destroyed, I have a picture to share. Inspiration is truly everywhere!
